Connecting PropertyEngine to ChatGPT

Connect PropertyEngine to ChatGPT and you can search the UK market, analyse deals and manage your pipeline just by chatting — ChatGPT works directly with your PropertyEngine data, so there's no exporting or copy‑pasting.

Available in Basic Pro Ultimate

You'll also need a paid ChatGPT plan — Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu. Developer Mode isn't available on the free plan, and on Business, Enterprise or Edu an admin may need to switch it on for the workspace first.

What you can do

Find and analyse

Search UK properties for sale or rent with investor filters, and pull full details — price history, EPC, planning applications and photos.
Get instant comparables and area market stats — sold prices, rental yields and refurb/flip potential.
Turn a Rightmove or Zoopla link into full PropertyEngine data.

Manage your deals

Create and organise pipelines, and add or move properties between stages.
Label properties, add notes, and log calls, viewings and offers — straight from the chat.
Review what's on your boards and everything you've recorded against a property.

Connect it

In ChatGPT, go to Settings › Plugins and switch on Developer Mode.
Go to Settings › Plugins › Browse Plugins and click the + in the top right. Enter these details:
- Name: PropertyEngine
- Connection (Server URL): https://propertyengine.co.uk/mcp
Tick the box that says I understand and want to continue, then create the plugin.
A PropertyEngine sign‑in window opens. Sign in if asked (we email you a 6‑digit code — no passwords), then click Allow. If you're already signed in to PropertyEngine, it's a single click, and ChatGPT returns with PropertyEngine connected.

Use it in a chat

Turn it on per conversation. Open the + menu in the message box and enable the PropertyEngine plugin. Then just ask — for example:

“Find 3‑bed houses for sale in Leeds under £200k that look like they need refurbishment.”
“What have similar homes near LS6 4BT sold for, and what rent could I get?”
“Add these three to my ‘Hot leads’ pipeline and label them as needs‑refurb.”
“Log that I offered £185k on 12 Mill Street and they rejected it.”

Good to know

ChatGPT acts as you, in your PropertyEngine workspace, and sees only what you'd see in the app.
It can both read your data and make changes — labels, notes, calls, offers and pipelines. ChatGPT asks you to confirm before it makes a change.
Developer Mode is a ChatGPT beta feature, so some menu names may differ slightly. Set it up on ChatGPT for web or desktop.
Disconnect any time in ChatGPT under Settings › Plugins.
